(a) Brigadier Sanjive Kumar Singh, Governing Body Member - Had vast experience in formulating/implementation of policies at Army Headquarters . Has immense experience of dealing with planning & executing operations in Counter Insurgencey besides immense experience in command and staff appointments having served six tenures in J & K and North East as under:
(i) Served for four tenures in J&K out of which one was in high altitude in Leh/Ladakh/ Siachen sector and three tenures in Counter Insurgency operations (two in the Valley sector in Srinagar & one tenure in Akhnoor/Rajouri sector).
(ii)Served for two tenures in the North East (Manipur & Assam) in Counter Insurgency operations.
